
Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, has arrived in Quetta for a one-day visit, where he was warmly welcomed. Governor of Balochistan, Jafar Khan Mandokhail, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, and provincial ministers received the Prime Minister at the airport. Strict security arrangements were in place, with additional personnel deployed at key locations in the city to ensure the safety of the visit.
The primary purpose of this visit is to assess the overall situation in Balochistan and review the progress of ongoing development projects. The Prime Minister will also hold a one-on-one meeting with the Governor of Balochistan, Jafar Khan Mandokhail, to discuss political, administrative, and developmental matters in the province. This meeting is expected to cover security conditions, ongoing development schemes, and measures to address public concerns.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will also visit security personnel injured in a recent operation against terrorists in Kalat. He will check on their well-being and pay tribute to their sacrifices. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will commend the performance of law enforcement agencies and may announce significant initiatives for their encouragement.
Accompanying the Prime Minister are Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Energy Minister Awais Leghari. This high-level delegation will engage in discussions regarding development projects and other key issues in Balochistan. It is expected that important decisions will be made to accelerate the pace of ongoing projects. This visit holds great significance for the development and security of Balochistan and is anticipated to strengthen the province’s ongoing progress.
