CM Sarfraz Bugti Introduces Scooty Scheme for Students and Working Women in Balochistan

Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has taken a revolutionary step by introducing the Scooty Scheme for students and working women in the province. The initiative aims to provide modern transportation facilities to young individuals and empower women, enabling them to continue their educational and professional activities with ease. Under this scheme, female students will receive pink scooties, while male students will be provided with electric bikes, helping to reduce travel difficulties, save time, and cut costs.

In a high-level meeting chaired by CM Sarfraz Bugti, a special committee was formed to implement the scheme effectively. He directed that the scheme should be facilitated through bank financing with the support and consultation of the State Bank of Pakistan, making it more accessible and efficient. Additionally, he emphasized that the scheme should also be extended to the general public so that more people in Balochistan can benefit from modern transportation solutions.

This initiative by the Government of Balochistan is a significant step towards empowering women and introducing a better, more modern transport system for young individuals. By providing subsidized scooties, the scheme aims to reduce travel issues for working women, granting them more freedom and convenience. CM Sarfraz Bugti has announced that the official launch of this scheme will take place on International Women’s Day to further enhance the mobility, safety, and independence of women in the province.
