
Security forces have successfully completed an operation against the terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express in Balochistan. The tragic incident claimed the lives of 21 innocent passengers, while retaliatory action resulted in the elimination of 33 terrorists. Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, provided details of the incident, stating that 440 passengers were aboard the Jaffar Express when the attack occurred. The operation was carried out jointly by SSG commandos, the Air Force, and the police. In the initial phase, the suicide bomber was neutralized, followed by a well-coordinated assault to eliminate the remaining terrorists.
According to DG ISPR, security forces executed the operation with exceptional skill, ensuring that no terrorist could escape. He further asserted that the fight against terrorism would continue, and no one would be allowed to harm the citizens of Pakistan. The Pakistan Army and other security agencies are committed to maintaining peace and stability in the country at all costs.
He urged the public to trust the security forces and stand united against enemy elements to ensure the complete eradication of terrorism.
