President Holds Key Meeting on Law and Order Situation in Balochistan

A crucial meeting, chaired by President Asif Ali Zardari, was held in Quetta to review the law and order situation in Balochistan. Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari attended the meeting as a special participant, while Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti provided a detailed briefing on the province’s security situation.

During the meeting, President Asif Ali Zardari reaffirmed his commitment to defeating terrorist elements at all costs and foiling the plans of anti-state forces. He stated that terrorism aims to divide the nation, but the state remains resolute in its determination to win the war against terrorism. The president also announced that the Counter-Terrorism Wing would be equipped with modern weapons and technology to enhance security measures in the province.

President Zardari emphasized that Balochistan holds a special place in his heart, and its development and lasting peace remain top priorities for the government. He further stated that every child in Balochistan should have access to education and that introducing modern technology in schools is essential for improving the quality of education.

The meeting was attended by Acting Governor of Balochistan, Captain (Retd.) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, Balochistan Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan, Inspector General of Police Moazzam Jah Ansari, and other senior officials. The participants discussed various aspects of law and order and reviewed proposals to enhance security in the province. The meeting also covered key measures for Balochistan’s development, stability, and public welfare.
