In Quetta, Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, set an example of compassion by responding immediately to a father’s plea for his ailing daughter’s treatment. The father, who had appealed for help outside the Press Club, was invited to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat where Sarfaraz Bugti personally met the father and the sick child. During the meeting, he offered reassurance and provided financial assistance on the spot.
The Chief Minister stated that the true joy lies in the smiles of innocent children and assured that the Government of Balochistan will fully cover the treatment of baby Marwah. He emphasized that every possible step will be taken to ensure she leads a healthy and happy life. He further added that no innocent child or poor family would be left alone, as humanitarian values demand that all necessary support be extended.
Expressing heartfelt gratitude, the child’s father said the Chief Minister had not only given him hope for his daughter’s survival but also comforted his heart. He recalled that Sarfaraz Bugti had previously helped in sending another of his daughters abroad for medical treatment, and once again he had turned their hopes into reality.
Chief Minister Bugti remarked that the prayers of parents in distress are his greatest achievement, and the recovery of baby Marwah is the shared prayer of everyone. He reaffirmed that the government stands by its people in every difficult moment and that no struggling family will ever be abandoned.
