A Practical Step Towards Empowering Balochistan’s Youth: Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti Attends Award Ceremony

A prestigious ceremony was held in Quetta to honor young individuals who completed training under the Balochistan Youth Empowerment and Engagement Initiative. The event aimed to recognize the talents of youth across various sectors. Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, attended the event as the chief guest and appreciated the outstanding performance of the talented students.

Speaking at the occasion, the Chief Minister stated that skilled youth are the key to Balochistan’s bright future, and promoting their creative abilities and modern skills is one of the government’s top priorities. He emphasized that the initiative is designed to provide better employment opportunities for the youth and equip them with the tools to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving world.

As part of the event, 46 high-achieving students were awarded laptops, while all trainees who completed the program received certificates. Leading IT and software companies from across the country also participated in the event and announced internship and job opportunities for 50 young professionals — a development seen as a significant milestone in the success of this initiative.

The Chief Minister described the program as a vital step toward economic self-reliance and youth development in the province. He highlighted that sustainable development can only be achieved when youth are given central importance and are actively involved in the decision-making process.

So far, more than 6,000 young individuals from across Balochistan have received training in various modern fields through this initiative. The program is not only opening new avenues for the youth but also playing a pivotal role in the overall development and prosperity of the province.
