Chief Minister Balochistan Stresses Knowledge, Research, and Loyalty to the State

Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, while addressing a ceremony at Taameer-e-Nau Public College Quetta, said that deliberate propaganda is being used to incite anti-state sentiments among the youth of Balochistan, but such attempts will not be allowed to succeed. He urged teachers to inspire students with patriotism, noting that this institution reflects the spirit of Islam and Pakistani identity.

He said teachers are chosen by Allah to build the character of the younger generation. Those who remained loyal to the country were honored, while those who betrayed it were disgraced. The Chief Minister added that social media in Balochistan is often misused for negative purposes, therefore youth must avoid such propaganda and instead focus on education and research.

He made it clear that the dream of separating Balochistan through violence is an illusion, and efforts to push youth into a meaningless conflict will fail. He stated that the government is providing scholarships for students to study at some of the world’s top institutions so they can move forward in a positive direction.

The Chief Minister further said that anti-state elements are trying to lure youth into suicide attacks, but the government will not allow this. Unequal development, he added, cannot justify hostility against the state. Criticism of the government is acceptable, but betrayal of the country is not. He reminded that Article 5 of the Constitution of Pakistan makes unconditional loyalty to the state mandatory.

He also announced that 12,000 jobs have been given across the province on merit and with full transparency. He assured uninterrupted funding for the Professor Fazal Bari Shaheed BS Block and expressed full support for the proposal to hold an Allama Iqbal International Conference. Concluding his speech, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti said that true success lies in embedding the love for Pakistan in the hearts of the youth.
