Foundation Laid for Sui-Kashmore Road Project – A New Path to Balochistan’s Development

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, while addressing the foundation-laying ceremony of the Sui-Kashmore Road project, made several significant announcements regarding the province’s development and national security. He stated that the Balochistan government is taking practical steps to bring real change in the fields of agriculture, education, and economy to ensure a better future for the people.

The Chief Minister informed that the restoration of the Kachhi Canal has been completed, and its Phase 2 and 3 will also be completed soon. These phases will transform the barren lands of Balochistan into fertile agricultural fields. He also announced the early construction of the Mir Ghulam Qadir Bugti University campus, which will play a vital role in promoting higher education in the region.

Furthermore, he shared positive news regarding the implementation of an agreement with Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL), under which jobs will be provided to the children of retired workers. Additionally, development projects worth five billion rupees will be launched in Sui Town, including road construction, street pavement, and solar energy systems. These initiatives are expected to significantly improve the quality of life for the local population.

In his address, Mir Sarfraz Bugti also strongly reacted to anti-state propaganda on social media. He emphasized that Pakistan is a responsible state that desires peace, but if war is imposed, it will respond forcefully. He stated that the sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan is a top priority, and no enemy will be allowed to succeed under any circumstances.

These steps clearly indicate that the Balochistan government is not only serious about public welfare, education, and development, but is also acting swiftly to implement its vision.
