A dignified and representative grand jirga was organized in Dera Murad Jamali, district Naseerabad, under the auspices of FC Balochistan (North). The event was attended by senior provincial and regional leadership along with a large number of tribal elders. The gathering included the Governor of Balochistan, the Chief Minister of Balochistan, the Commander of 12 Corps, the Inspector General FC Balochistan (North), the Inspector General of Police, and administrative officials of Naseerabad Division.
During the jirga, detailed discussions were held on the overall security situation, tribal harmony, mutual coordination, and development needs of the area. Participants agreed that lasting peace depends on trust and cooperation between state institutions and local communities. Tribal elders appreciated the practical efforts and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army and FC Balochistan (North) for restoring and maintaining peace in the region.
Addressing the gathering, the Governor of Balochistan said that tribal communities have always stood with the state and continue to play a vital role in the journey toward peace and development. He emphasized the need for a joint strategy to ensure a brighter future for youth, successful implementation of development projects, and long-term stability.
The Chief Minister of Balochistan stated that the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps will continue to utilize all available resources to promote peace, social stability, and improved basic services, highlighting the crucial role of tribal elders in sustaining peace. The Commander of 12 Corps remarked that the path to Balochistan’s progress and prosperity lies in peace and unity, and that with public support, the designs of terrorist elements can be defeated.
