The Government of Balochistan, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, has launched a remarkable educational initiative in collaboration with the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF). This initiative provides an exceptional opportunity for talented students from across Balochistan to pursue quality education at Sadiq Public School, Bahawalpur, through the Chief Minister Shaheed Memorial Scholarship Program.
For the academic year 2025, BEEF has announced fully-funded scholarships for 100 students from 11 districts of Balochistan, specifically targeting areas with limited access to quality education. These districts include Awaran, Barkhan, Dera Bugti, Jhal Magsi, Kohlu, Killa Abdullah, Killa Saifullah, Musakhel, Sherani, Washuk, and Zhob. The scholarship covers all major educational expenses, providing a life-changing opportunity for the deserving and underprivileged youth of Balochistan.
To be eligible, students must demonstrate exceptional academic performance and belong to households registered under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) with a Poverty Score of 0-40. Those selected will join the Junior School (Grade A/O Level) at Sadiq Public School, renowned for its commitment to nurturing future leaders.
The application process is open, and interested candidates can apply online through the BEEF website at www.beef.org.pk/sps. The deadline for submitting applications is February 10, 2025. Admission tests will be conducted on February 20, 2025, with interviews scheduled for the last week of February.
This initiative by the Government of Balochistan reflects its unwavering commitment to transforming lives through education and fostering a brighter future for its youth.
