Propaganda in the Name of Baloch Youth: Reality or Deception?

Once again, the so-called Solidarity Committee and its backers have attempted to create an anti-state narrative over the dead body of a young Baloch man. However, the family of Hayat Sabzal rejected this propaganda, leading to the end of the committee’s so-called protest. Hayat Sabzal was first abducted at gunpoint by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and taken to the mountains. Later, the same group’s proxy, the Solidarity Committee, falsely framed his disappearance as a case of enforced abduction to incite his family against the state.

Not stopping there, the BLA brutally murdered Hayat Sabzal and dumped his body in a deserted area, providing another opportunity for the Solidarity Committee to point fingers at the state. This repeated tactic has been used for years: terrorist groups abduct and kill young Baloch men, and their proxies exploit the tragedy to launch anti-state propaganda.

This strategy has been in place for a long time. In the past, the same role was played by the Baloch Students Organization-Azad (BSO-Azad). However, when international bodies banned BSO-Azad for supporting terrorism, new groups like the Solidarity Committee emerged to continue the same agenda. These organizations serve as the ideological and operational mouthpieces of the BLA, using the deaths of Baloch youth to push their anti-state propaganda.

The Baloch people are no longer falling for these conspiracies. The rejection of propaganda by Hayat Sabzal’s family is clear evidence that the public has recognized the true face of these terrorist groups. It is time to free Baloch youth from their influence and steer them towards peace and progress.
