To ensure the provision of higher education facilities in Balochistan, the provincial government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has achieved another significant milestone. Following the approval of the Balochistan Cabinet, the Governor of Balochistan and Chancellor of Public Sector Universities has officially issued the notification for the establishment of the Mir Ghulam Qadir Bugti Sub-Campus of Mir Chakar Khan Rind University at Sui. This sub-campus has been established in accordance with the recommendations of the Vice Chancellors’ Committee under the Balochistan Universities Act 2022 and with the approval of the Government of Balochistan (Provincial Cabinet). It has been made effective immediately.
Under this decision, a new sub-campus of Mir Chakar Khan Rind University, Sibi, will be established in Sui, providing excellent higher education opportunities to students in the region. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the provincial government is taking revolutionary steps in the education sector to ensure that the youth of Balochistan have access to quality and modern education in their own areas. The objective of this initiative is to promote educational development in the province, expand modern educational facilities, and ensure the provision of quality educational opportunities for local students.
Furthermore, the Vice Chancellor of Mir Chakar Khan Rind University, Sibi, has been directed to take the necessary steps to obtain approval from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for the newly established sub-campus and to ensure the formal recognition of degrees awarded from this campus. Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the provincial government is working on further projects aimed at increasing the number of higher educational institutions and improving educational facilities in Balochistan.
This initiative will not only provide better educational opportunities for the youth of Balochistan but also mark the beginning of a new era of development and prosperity in the province. The establishment of the Mir Ghulam Qadir Bugti Sub-Campus is a significant advancement in the education sector of Balochistan, paving the way for knowledge and progress in the future while allowing local students to access quality education within their own region instead of seeking it elsewhere.
