CTD Balochistan’s Timely Action Saves Quetta from Major Disaster

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Balochistan has successfully averted a major terrorist attack in Quetta, achieving a significant breakthrough. According to a CTD spokesperson, the operation was carried out based on intelligence reports indicating suspicious movements and the presence of a large cache of weapons and explosives. Acting swiftly and professionally, the CTD conducted a raid in the Sariab Road area and recovered a substantial amount of arms and ammunition, including IEDs, automatic weapons, hand grenades, and various other dangerous materials.

The spokesperson stated that initial investigations revealed the terrorists were planning a major attack in Quetta within the next 24 to 72 hours, which was effectively foiled by the CTD’s prompt response. Although no terrorists were present at the scene during the raid, raids are underway in various locations to apprehend the unidentified suspects. The spokesperson emphasized that no one will be allowed to disturb the peace of Balochistan, and any such conspiracies will be dealt with firmly. This successful operation has delivered a major blow to the nefarious plans of terrorists, not only in Quetta but throughout Balochistan.
