According to the report, the M4A1 rifle and at least 63 other weapons used in the Jafer Express attack were originally provided by the U.S. to Afghan security forces. Pakistani officials and journalists have personally witnessed this modern weaponry, now being used in attacks on security forces and innocent civilians in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
This situation is not only dangerous for Pakistan but should also be a matter of serious concern for the international community. If terrorist equipment continues to flow from Afghanistan into Pakistan, can the world still deny Afghanistan’s role in destabilizing our country?
