Balochistan’s Development, Peace, and the Future of Youth: A Glimpse into Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti’s Vision

Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has made important announcements regarding the province’s development, security, and the future of its youth. He stated that the old building of the Balochistan Assembly in Quetta no longer meets the province’s needs; therefore, a new parliament building will be constructed by the federal government. He emphasized that the new building will reflect Balochistan’s cultural heritage, traditions, and identity.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti highlighted that, for the first time in history, 90% of development funds have been utilized on time, showcasing the provincial government’s commitment to transparent governance and effective administration. He further mentioned that the upcoming budget will prioritize the youth, enabling them to play a central role in Balochistan’s progress. The new fiscal year’s budget will be a surplus budget, with a focus on generating maximum employment opportunities—offering a ray of hope for the younger generation.

Speaking about the ongoing efforts against terrorism, the Chief Minister said that targeted operations are continuing and have played a key role in restoring peace. According to him, roads across Balochistan are now open, a clear sign of improving law and order.

These statements by Mir Sarfraz Bugti reflect that the provincial government is not only serious about public welfare but is also determined to transform Balochistan into a peaceful, prosperous, and self-reliant province.
