
Quetta, September 7, 2025: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, paid a visit to his native area Baiker, where he held important meetings and received briefings regarding various development projects and public issues. On this occasion, he was given a detailed update on ongoing development schemes, including the Sark Dam Phelawagh project. The Chief Minister also met with local elders, community delegations, and citizens, engaging in discussions on regional problems. He emphasized that providing better opportunities for education and employment to the youth is one of the government’s top priorities, along with further improving health and educational facilities.
During his remarks, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti stated that the development of underprivileged areas is among the government’s foremost objectives, and every effort will be made to ensure the provision of basic facilities to such regions. He further said that the completion of the Sark Dam will bring agricultural prosperity and significantly resolve water issues in the area. He highlighted that the natural resources of Balochistan would be utilized for the welfare, prosperity, and uplift of the people of the province, ensuring tangible improvements in their lives.
This visit not only served to review the progress of development projects but also provided a valuable opportunity for direct interaction with local residents, helping strengthen the bond between the government and the people.
