
Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, met with WAPDA Chairman, Lt. Gen. (R) Muhammad Saeed, where detailed discussions were held on the province’s energy challenges and ongoing power projects. The meeting also covered the provision of electricity from the national grid station to Gwadar and other border areas, along with a review of progress on the plan to shift agricultural tube wells to solar energy.
The Chief Minister stated that close cooperation with federal institutions is ensuring a steady supply of electricity in Balochistan. He emphasized that implementing new and practical projects is essential to overcome power shortages and reduce public hardships. He further highlighted that providing electricity to remote areas of the province remains a top priority for the government, while investment in the energy sector and improvement of infrastructure are crucial for Balochistan’s development journey.
CM Bugti assured that the provincial government is taking all possible steps to provide uninterrupted electricity to the people.
