Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti Expresses Resolve to Strengthen Security Forces and Ensure Lasting Peace

Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, while chairing an important meeting, stated that it is the responsibility of the political leadership to ensure the rule of law, while the security forces will take operational leadership in the fight against terrorism. He emphasized that through the merger of the Police and Levies forces, the use of modern technology, training programs, and institutional strengthening, the province’s counter-terrorism capabilities will be significantly enhanced.

The Chief Minister paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of police officers and personnel, calling them a debt owed by the nation. He assured that the government will continue to provide complete political, administrative, and moral support to the security forces. The meeting also decided to enhance the capacity of the forces, activate the Crime Branch and Special Wings, and take effective measures for the welfare and protection of the families of martyrs.

Chief Minister Bugti directed that all decisions taken in the meeting must be implemented immediately and transparently. He reiterated that empowering the police and equipping them with modern tools and training is essential for maintaining lasting peace and stability in Balochistan.
