Chief Minister Balochistan Addresses Public Gathering in Sanjawi

Sanjawi, November 2, 2025 — Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, while addressing a large public gathering in Sanjawi, said that he is ready to visit every corner of the province to serve the people of Balochistan. “Even if resources are limited, I will still reach the people — even if I have to go on foot,” he remarked. He stated that the province’s resources and challenges are well known, and the government’s top priority is to ensure their transparent and efficient utilization.

The Chief Minister announced that the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Sanjawi will be upgraded into a model medical facility with 20 beds, to be made functional under a public-private partnership, similar to the Bakr Hospital model. He also approved the construction of separate buildings for boys’ and girls’ colleges in Sanjawi, along with the provision of two new buses.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti added that a new administrative complex will be constructed for officers and staff in Sanjawi. He further stated that 14 inactive schools in Ziarat will become fully functional after the winter vacation. The Chief Minister emphasized that all recruitments in the Education Department are being carried out strictly on merit, and any violation of merit will be dealt with immediately.

He said that the decision to merge the Levies force with the Police, though seemingly unpopular, is a necessary step for the times. On public demand, he announced the establishment of four new police stations in Sanjawi, the construction of a new 15-kilometer road, and the initiation of a land settlement process in the area.

The Chief Minister mentioned that administrative boundaries across the province are being redefined, and the government is seriously considering the establishment of a new district in Ziarat in consultation with stakeholders.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling promises made to the people, stating that no promise will be made that cannot be kept. Concluding his address, he announced the construction of two new blocks and the provision of four new buses for Cadet College Ziarat, reaffirming his dedication to meeting the public’s trust through practical service and development.
