Intellectual Capacity Building of Youth in Gwadar under the Balochistan Youth Socio-Economic Development Program

In line with the youth-friendly vision of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Khan Bugti, the Youth Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan, organized an important educational activity in Gwadar under the Balochistan Youth Socio-Economic Development Program. As part of this initiative, a one-day training session on Civic Education was successfully held at Government Boys Degree College, Gwadar, with the participation of more than 188 students.
During the training activity, two comprehensive sessions on civic education were conducted. The main objective of these sessions was to promote constitutional awareness, a sense of civic responsibility, respect for the rule of law, and positive social behavior among students. This initiative reflects the practical implementation of the Chief Minister’s vision to empower youth and prepare them as responsible and informed citizens.
The training session was conducted by Ms. Saadia Nasir Ahmed, who provided clear and effective guidance on civic rights and duties, democratic values, and active citizenship. Students actively participated in question-and-answer segments as well as practical activities, which enhanced their understanding and engagement throughout the session.
Under the Balochistan Youth Socio-Economic Development Program, similar training activities are being conducted continuously across various districts of the province. Through these initiatives, more than 11,000 young individuals are being trained on different educational and civic topics. The students of Government Boys Degree College, Gwadar, appreciated this valuable initiative and expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Khan Bugti and Advisor to the Chief Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Ms. Meena Majeed Baloch, for organizing this meaningful civic education session, terming it a positive step towards a brighter future for the youth.
