Quetta, December 5, 2025 — A parliamentary committee meeting on the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti. The meeting was attended by parliamentary members nominated by the government and allied parties. During the session, a detailed review of the progress of ongoing development projects under the PSDP was conducted, and consultations were held regarding the development program for the upcoming fiscal year.
Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized that the timely completion of development projects and transparent utilization of financial resources are top priorities for the province. He stated that every project should contribute to public welfare and the economic growth of Balochistan. The Chief Minister urged committee members to closely monitor the progress of ongoing projects and take immediate measures to remove any delays or obstacles.
The meeting also discussed measures to improve the quality and pace of ongoing projects, along with suggestions and consultations for the development program of the next fiscal year. Mir Sarfraz Bugti highlighted that the provincial government is making every effort to ensure that all projects are completed on time and benefit the public directly. He added that parliamentary oversight and effective coordination can make the implementation of development projects transparent and result-oriented.
The session further deliberated on the goals and priorities of development programs in various sectors, aiming to ensure maximum utilization of available resources to promote development, create employment opportunities, and provide essential services across Balochistan.
