Realizing Quaid-e-Azam’s Vision and Balochistan’s Resolve

On the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Day, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti reaffirmed the commitment that the Pakistan envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (RA) is steadily moving toward becoming a reality. He stated that this is not merely the position of the state; rather, the international community is also acknowledging Pakistan as a strong, dignified, and emerging nation. In recent years, the challenges faced by Pakistan have highlighted the role of the Pakistan Armed Forces as a bright and proud chapter in national history, as they defended the country’s sovereignty and honor with professionalism, courage, and effective strategy.
The Chief Minister noted that Pakistan’s expanding diplomatic engagement and growing international relations are clear evidence that the world respects nations that are strong and united. He emphasized that the Government of Balochistan, in close coordination with security institutions, is implementing a comprehensive strategy aimed at ensuring peace, development, and public welfare, with a focus on delivering tangible benefits to the common citizen. Good governance and the protection of national interests have been placed at the core of provincial policies to further strengthen the state.
He also pointed out that repeated attempts have been made to weaken Pakistan through various conspiracies, sometimes on linguistic lines and at other times through ideological attacks. However, the nation has consistently demonstrated unity in the face of these challenges. After the creation of Pakistan, the foremost and strongest identity is that of being Pakistani, followed by regional and linguistic identities. This unity has served as a strong shield against all hostile designs.
The Chief Minister stated that efforts to undermine Pakistan’s ideological foundation have also failed, as this ideology is what binds the nation together. Through cooperation among the public, security forces, and law enforcement agencies, peace has been restored in various areas of Balochistan, and regions once known for instability are now emerging as examples of peace and stability.
