During the meeting, detailed briefings were given by Safa Quetta and the Quetta Metropolitan Corporation on the existing cleanliness arrangements in the city.
The Chief Minister and the Advisor for Local Government expressed dissatisfaction with the current sanitation conditions in Quetta and made it clear that any negligence in this regard would not be tolerated. They directed the concerned departments to take immediate, effective, and sustainable measures to improve the sanitation system.
It was also decided to conduct an independent survey to assess public opinion and evaluate the performance of cleanliness services so that reforms could be introduced based on ground realities.
