The current situation in Balochistan has raised significant and controversial questions about the relationship between the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) and the banned organization Baloch Liberation Army (BLA). The recent killings of Allah Dad Baloch and Hayat Sabzal have once again intensified the debate about the agendas these organizations are pursuing and their true objectives.
The responsibility for the murders of Allah Dad Baloch and Hayat Sabzal has been attributed to the banned organization BLA, which has been involved in numerous terrorist activities in Balochistan. The BLA has consistently targeted state institutions, civilians, and development projects to spread instability in the province. Surprisingly, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee does not respond to such incidents with the same intensity as it does when issuing statements or organizing protests against state institutions.
Recently, an appalling incident occurred in the Star Plus Market of Turbat, where innocent laborers were brutally killed. This act was not only a blatant violation of human rights but also a conspiracy against the efforts to maintain peace and stability in Balochistan. What’s shocking is the silence of the BYC, an organization that claims to advocate for human rights, regarding this heinous act. This silence raises critical questions: Is their activism truly for human rights, or is it driven by specific agendas?
The BYC frequently targets state institutions and seizes every opportunity to amplify its narrative on international platforms, often aiming to tarnish the image of Pakistan’s institutions. Their protests and statements usually surface when security forces conduct operations against terrorism. However, when terrorist organizations attack innocent civilians, these voices conveniently fall silent.
This contradiction suggests that the BYC’s primary objective is to protect specific interests, possibly linked to foreign funding and political motives. The people of Balochistan need to recognize the hidden agendas behind these organizations’ narratives. Public awareness and accurate information are the only antidotes to counter these conspiracies and establish lasting peace in Balochistan.
Balochistan is a beautiful and resource-rich region. Its development and prosperity depend on fostering trust and cooperation between state institutions and the people. It is the duty of every patriotic citizen to thwart the objectives of organizations that operate on the agendas of peace’s enemies. The youth of Balochistan must focus on development, education, and peace, staying vigilant against the propaganda of elements that seek to promote chaos and unrest.
