
A review meeting of the Balochistan Aviation Wing was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, where Director General of Balochistan Aviation Wing, Captain Ali Azad, provided a detailed briefing. The meeting decided on the restructuring and activation of the Aviation Wing, while the Chief Minister directed the preparation of a comprehensive roadmap to further strengthen its infrastructure. It was also decided that the Aviation Wing would not only be used for VIP movement but also for emergencies, rescue, and other critical services.
Chief Minister Bugti emphasized that the government would utilize all resources to modernize and operationalize the Aviation Wing according to contemporary requirements. He highlighted the Young Pilots Training Program as a significant initiative for the youth of Balochistan, ensuring a structured training system to develop skilled pilots and create employment opportunities. He further stated that the Aviation Wing would be developed as a model for all of Pakistan, contributing to the growth of the aviation sector, emergency response, rescue services, and public welfare projects.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, Principal Secretary Babar Khan, Secretary Finance Imran Zarkoon, Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister Secretariat Muhammad Fareedun, and other senior officials.
