Governor Balochistan Emphasizes Financial Transparency and Accountability in Universities

Governor Balochistan Jafar Khan Mandokhail has stressed the need for financial transparency and accountability in universities, directing the implementation of effective internal and external audit mechanisms to eliminate financial irregularities. He emphasized that every vice chancellor must ensure the timely conduct of Senate and Syndicate meetings, facilitate smooth examinations, and avoid unnecessary expenditures. He warned that negligence in this regard would not be tolerated.

He made these remarks while presiding over the second Senate meeting of the University of Gwadar at Governor House Quetta. The meeting was attended by Provincial Education Minister Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, Higher Education Secretary Saleh Muhammad Baloch, University of Gwadar Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, University of Balochistan Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Bazai, Principal Secretary to the Governor Hashim Khan Ghilzai, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, and other Senate members.
