
A blast near a police mobile on Double Road in Quetta once again plunged the city into mourning. Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti strongly condemned the terrorist attack, stating that such cowardly acts cannot weaken the determination of the people and government of Balochistan. He emphasized that ensuring the safety of citizens’ lives and property is the government’s top priority and that operations against terrorists will be intensified. The Chief Minister prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and directed authorities to provide them with the best medical care.
He instructed security agencies to swiftly apprehend those responsible for the attack and bring them to justice. He also stressed the importance of taking all necessary measures to maintain law and order in the province. Expressing his condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the families of the martyrs, Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that such heinous acts in the holy month of Ramadan expose the evil intentions of terrorists. However, he affirmed that the government and security forces will not allow these malicious objectives to succeed at any cost.
In a statement on X, the Chief Minister said that the so-called struggle for freedom in Balochistan has once again claimed another gem. He mourned the tragic loss of Dr. Mehrullah Tareen, an esteemed intellectual and a valuable asset to Balochistan, who was martyred in the blast in Quetta. He expressed deep sorrow over this heartbreaking incident, reaffirming that such acts of terrorism cannot hinder Balochistan’s progress and that the government will continue its relentless efforts to protect its people.
