District Administration Cracks Down on Illegal Afghan Immigrants: 40 Detained, 28 to Be Deported

The district administration has taken action against Afghan immigrants residing illegally, detaining 40 individuals in a major operation. According to details, the operation was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Kachlak, Naimatullah Tareen. A passenger bus was intercepted in the Sub-Division of Kachlak, and all passengers on board were Afghan nationals. Initial screening revealed that they were residing in the country without legal documentation.

All 40 individuals were taken into custody and transferred to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Quetta, where thorough investigations and verification of legal documents were carried out. Upon completion of the investigation, 12 individuals were released after presenting valid legal documents, while the remaining 28 were found to have no legal status and are set to be deported.

According to the administration, the aim of this operation was to identify individuals residing illegally and to ensure the enforcement of national laws. Assistant Commissioner Naimatullah Tareen stated that such operations will continue in the future to uphold the rule of law.
