
Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, held an important meeting with a delegation of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) led by the party’s central Secretary General, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri. The meeting was also attended by JUI’s provincial Ameer Senator Maulana Abdul Wasey, Opposition Leader Younas Aziz Zehri, and other senior provincial leaders.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the law and order situation in Balochistan, prevailing political tensions, and the ongoing sit-in protest by the Balochistan National Party (BNP), among other pressing issues.
The JUI delegation offered to play a mediatory role in the current political crisis and expressed their willingness to make serious efforts for a peaceful resolution. Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti briefed the delegation on the government’s stance and emphasized that restoring peace and stability in Balochistan is a shared responsibility of both the government and the opposition.
He acknowledged JUI’s consistent role as a responsible political force, whether in government or opposition, and appreciated its positive contributions. The Chief Minister reiterated that the government aims to resolve all political matters through dialogue and consultation, and that strengthening democratic traditions requires the collective efforts of all political stakeholders.
The meeting concluded in a cordial atmosphere, with a shared hope that all parties will work together for the peace and progress of Balochistan.
