Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti Pays Emergency Visit to Civil Hospital Quetta

Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti paid an emergency visit to Civil Hospital Quetta to inquire about the victims injured in the tragic incident that occurred in Noshki. During his visit, the Chief Minister directed that the injured be provided with the best possible medical facilities. He further instructed that critically injured patients should be shifted to Karachi immediately on doctors’ recommendations to ensure timely and proper treatment. Expressing deep sorrow over the incident, he conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the victims and assured them of complete medical care.

The Chief Minister shared that as soon as the incident was reported, helicopters and ambulances were immediately dispatched to Noshki to provide swift medical assistance. He added that more than 70 injured individuals have been shifted to Quetta for treatment, and Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar, along with specialist doctors, is actively supervising their care.

Highlighting issues faced by the health department due to past negligence, the Chief Minister stated that the current government is implementing reforms in the healthcare sector. He reaffirmed his commitment to equipping the health department with modern facilities and ensuring the provision of quality healthcare services in all districts of interior Balochistan. He emphasized that the government is determined to provide standard medical services at the doorsteps of the common and underprivileged people of Balochistan.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that due to the reforms introduced in the public health sector, quality treatment is now available locally in Quetta, which is a significant achievement. Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar and other health department officials briefed the Chief Minister on the immediate measures taken after the incident, upon which he expressed satisfaction. He appreciated the efforts of the Provincial Health Minister, Secretary, doctors, and medical staff and directed that emergency medical services should continue uninterrupted until all victims recover.
