
A significant meeting was held under the chairmanship of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti to review the progress of healthcare services being provided in the province through collaboration with Indus Hospital. Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Balochistan Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan, Health Secretary Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Panizai, Director General Health Dr. Ameen Mandokhail, and representatives from Indus Hospital attended the meeting via video link.
During the session, representatives from Indus Hospital gave a detailed briefing on ongoing healthcare projects in Balochistan. They particularly highlighted the progress in providing medical facilities, deployment of doctors, and infrastructure development in Sui and Bekar.
Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized that the Balochistan government is fully committed to providing residential and other essential facilities to doctors and medical staff. He directed that the hiring of doctors and consultants be completed as soon as possible, stressing that any delays would not be tolerated.
He further announced that he would personally visit Sui and Bekar next month to assess the medical facilities on the ground. The Chief Minister reiterated that providing quality healthcare services to the public remains a top priority of the provincial government and that all resources are being utilized to achieve this goal.
