Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, while addressing a grand ceremony held in connection with the Day of Gratitude, stated that Pakistan’s defense lies in strong and reliable hands, and the country is a dignified and invincible state. He emphasized that the state of Pakistan will never compromise on its independence, sovereignty, or integrity, and anyone who dares to cast an evil eye on the motherland will be dealt with severely.
The Chief Minister said that Pakistan has always expressed its desire for peace and, as a responsible state, has responded to all accusations with transparency and willingness to investigate. Unfortunately, India once again, without any investigation, leveled baseless accusations against Pakistan and adopted a war-mongering approach. He said that in a recent incident, India attempted an attack under the cover of darkness, to which the Pakistani forces gave a befitting and crushing response, forcing India to plead for a ceasefire.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that it was a reflection of Pakistan’s military preparedness, spiritual strength, and national unity that the enemy faced defeat on every front. He added that the people of Balochistan stand firmly with the armed forces of Pakistan and are proud of their professionalism, bravery, and strategic planning. He paid tribute to the Chief of Army Staff for his courageous leadership, which led to the enemy’s failure—an achievement that will be remembered in history.
He further said that the people of Pakistan are a vibrant and resolute nation that considers the defense of their homeland a sacred duty. The nationwide celebrations of the Day of Gratitude are a clear indication that we celebrate our victories with collective consciousness and national unity. The Chief Minister thanked all the esteemed guests, civil and military officials, and the families of martyrs for their participation, stating that this display of national unity sends a strong message to the enemy—that Pakistan is a strong, united, and determined state fully capable of responding decisively to any aggression.
