Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s Important Visit to Quetta: High-Level Consultation Expected on Khuzdar Incident

Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, arrived in Quetta today on an important visit following the tragic incident in Khuzdar. He was accompanied by Federal Ministers Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Mohsin Naqvi, and Attaullah Tarar. Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, along with members of the provincial cabinet, warmly received the Prime Minister at the airport.

This emergency visit by the Prime Minister is being seen as a symbol of national unity, seriousness, and prompt response in the wake of the Khuzdar tragedy. During the visit, the Prime Minister will be briefed in detail on the current security situation in Balochistan. A high-level meeting on law and order is also expected, where future strategies and measures will be reviewed.

According to sources, the Prime Minister is personally leading the effort to engage with the people of Balochistan, listen to their concerns, and assure them of the federal government’s full support. Special attention is being given to expressing condolences to the families of the martyrs and ensuring medical facilities for the injured.

This visit by the Prime Minister signifies the state’s commitment to the protection and stability of its citizens under all circumstances. Emphasis is also being placed on strengthening cooperation between the federal and provincial governments to ensure sustainable peace and development in Balochistan.
