
Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, met with Chairperson of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), Gul Meena Bilal, to discuss various aspects of technical education, IT training, and youth empowerment in the province. During the meeting, the Chief Minister expressed his firm commitment to equipping 30,000 young people in Balochistan with vocational skills over the next five years to enable them to access employment opportunities abroad. He emphasized that this initiative would not only lead to economic self-reliance for the youth but also contribute significantly to the province’s development.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that the current government is actively promoting merit across all sectors and is working to ensure transparency in the technical and vocational training system. He added that all recent recruitments in the health and education departments have been made strictly on merit, reflecting the government’s commitment to honesty and transparency.
The Chief Minister described youth as the backbone of the nation and stressed the importance of restoring their trust in the state. He said the government is utilizing all available resources to empower young people so they can secure better employment opportunities and play a vital role in strengthening the national economy. The meeting also highlighted the importance of modern technological training to prepare the youth to compete in the global job market.
