After Eid, the security situation escalated at the Barkhan-Dera Bugti border following reports of the presence of terrorists linked to the group “Fitna Al-Hind.” According to Levies sources, a swift operation was launched from Baiker by the Levies Force and tribal militia from the Masuri tribe, under the leadership of Aftab Bugti and Haji Khan Muhammad Bugti, successfully surrounding the terrorists.
From early morning, intense clashes broke out between the terrorists and the tribal militia. Levies officials confirmed that four terrorists were killed in the operation. The deceased were affiliated with proscribed organizations connected to Fitna Al-Hind. The tribal militia took possession of their bodies and the weapons they were carrying.
Levies sources stated that terrorist movement had increased notably at a time when Chief Minister of Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti was present in his native town of Baiker. In response, local forces and the tribal militia acted promptly, leading to a successful joint operation with significant results.
According to Levies authorities, the bodies of the deceased terrorists will be handed over to their families following identification, in accordance with Baloch traditions. Local sources believe the operation has not only demoralized terrorist elements but also marked a major step toward restoring peace and security in the region.
