Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti’s Fatherly Gesture Towards Nafeesa: A Ray of Hope for the Daughters of Balochistan

On June 18, 2025, a heartwarming incident took place when Nafeesa, a student from Gwadar, shared her concern with the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfraz Bugti, stating that her voice never reaches Quetta. The Chief Minister not only listened to her complaint but responded with the grace and warmth of a father. He called her on stage, gently placed his hand on her head, addressed her as “daughter,” and offered her his own seat.

This was not just a symbolic gesture — it was a powerful message to all the daughters of Balochistan: You are not alone. Sarfraz Bugti attentively listened to Nafeesa’s concerns and suggestions, issued immediate orders for resolving her issues, and most notably, announced that he would personally bear all her educational expenses to ease her difficulties.

This incident reflects not only the Chief Minister’s empathy and sincerity but also serves as a practical example of women empowerment in Balochistan. Sarfraz Bugti’s action proves that true leadership is defined not by words, but by meaningful actions. Today, the daughters of Balochistan can move forward with renewed confidence, knowing they are supported and valued.
