Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of Masoor Khan in a message posted on social media. He stated that while the government could not save Masoor Khan, it was a solemn promise to bring his killers to justice — a promise that has now been fulfilled. The Chief Minister termed the identification and arrest of the prime suspect a major success, crediting it to the combined and professional efforts of all law enforcement agencies.
He commended the performance of Quetta Police, the Intelligence Bureau, and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), calling the operation exemplary. He said the case had proven that when state institutions work in coordination, no criminal can escape the grasp of the law.
In his statement, Chief Minister Bugti reiterated the government’s firm commitment to arrest all remaining culprits involved in the case and ensure that justice is delivered under all circumstances. He emphasized that this is not just about one person, but about the trust and safety of the entire society — something the government cannot compromise on.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti assured the public that the government will not tolerate any obstacles in the path to justice and every criminal will be punished in accordance with the law. He concluded by expressing full solidarity with the family of Shaheed Masoor Khan, assuring them they are not alone in their grief.
