A major revelation has emerged regarding banned outfits operating in Balochistan. According to sources, Bashir Zaib, the founder of the terrorist organization BLA, orchestrated the killing of his own senior commander and trainer of the Majeed Brigade, Captain Rahman Gul alias Mureed Helmand, in Afghanistan. Reports suggest this act was driven by internal rifts and financial interests.
Captain Rahman Gul, widely known as Mureed Helmand, held a very significant position within the BLA and was even being considered for leadership of the group. However, growing infighting and the struggle for power brought him into direct conflict with the founder himself. In pursuit of dollars and influence, Bashir Zaib eliminated his comrade, further exposing the internal cracks within the BLA.
This incident highlights how internal disputes and personal interests are hollowing out these terrorist groups from within. Once regarded as one of the BLA’s most experienced and dangerous commanders, Mureed Helmand ultimately fell victim to a conspiracy from within his own ranks.
Experts believe this killing is clear evidence that such terrorist outfits, while claiming to fight for causes, are in reality driven by selfish motives and foreign funding. Bashir Zaib’s action has weakened the group internally and sent a message that loyalty holds no value in these organizations.
The development also indicates that terrorists seeking refuge in Afghanistan are no longer safe, as their own comrades are turning against them over disputes and money. The death of Captain Rahman Gul alias Mureed Helmand marks a major setback for the BLA, already plagued by internal chaos and external pressure.
In the end, this underscores a larger truth: those who choose the path of terrorism inevitably fall into their own traps, where personal greed consumes everything and destruction is the only outcome.
