Addressing the ceremony of the Sultan Golden Guinness Record Attempt Event 2025 held in Quetta, Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the youth of Balochistan possess immense potential and, if provided with proper opportunities and patronage, they can make their mark not only at the national but also at the international level. He stated that the provincial government is taking practical steps to promote positive activities and sports, ensuring equal opportunities for talented individuals to move forward.
The Chief Minister termed Sultan Golden’s success a matter of pride for the entire province, saying that by setting a Guinness World Record, he has brought global recognition not only to Balochistan but also to Pakistan. Appreciating Sultan Golden’s exceptional hard work, dedication, and determination, Mir Sarfraz Bugti announced a cash prize of Rs. 50 million for him, adding that such achievements serve as a strong source of motivation for the younger generation.
He further said that there is no shortage of talent in Balochistan; rather, the real need is to provide opportunities, a responsibility the provincial government is committed to fulfilling. He assured that better facilities would be provided to athletes and young talent across the province so they can represent the country and Balochistan at the global level. Concluding his remarks, the Chief Minister congratulated Sultan Golden on his outstanding achievement and said that his success is a shining example and a source of inspiration for the youth of Balochistan.
