Matric Examinations to Begin from February 10 in Balochistan; Strict Measures Announced to Eliminate Cheating

Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has announced that the annual Matric Board examinations across the province will formally commence on February 10, 2026. He stated that the government has devised a comprehensive strategy to ensure the examination process remains transparent and fair, enabling students to receive results purely on merit.
The Chief Minister made it clear that no leniency or concession will be shown regarding cheating. He emphasized that decisions taken to curb malpractice will be implemented strictly, and legal action will be taken against violators. He further said that to ensure effective monitoring of examination centers, the police, deputy commissioners, and the education department will perform joint duties.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti added that the provincial government is firmly committed to making Balochistan free from corruption in education and every other sector. He expressed hope that these strict and effective measures will bring transparency to the examination system, reward students for their hard work, and help improve educational standards in the province.
