Chief Minister Balochistan Meets Students of Government Girls Degree College Sariab Mills

Quetta: May 22 – Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, met with the top-performing students of Government Girls Degree College Sariab Mills, Quetta. The meeting was attended by Provincial Minister for Education Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, Parliamentary Secretary Asfand Yar Kakar, Secretary Colleges Muhammad Saleh Baloch, and Lecturer of Media Studies at the college, Saima Baloch.

During the interaction, the students appreciated the Chief Minister’s efforts and initiatives in promoting education. The Chief Minister expressed solidarity with the students affected by the Khuzdar tragedy and instructed that candles be lit in schools and colleges across Balochistan to honor them.

He announced that he would soon visit the college in person to listen to the students’ issues firsthand. Furthermore, he declared that outstanding students would be provided scooters under the government’s “Pink Scooty Scheme.”

Emphasizing the importance of women’s education, the Chief Minister stated that it remains one of the top priorities of the government, as women are not only an essential part of society but also the architects of future generations. On this occasion, Provincial Minister Raheela Hameed Durrani distributed appreciation certificates and cash prizes among the top students on behalf of the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to the government’s education-friendly policies and affirmed that every possible step would be taken to ensure a bright future for the youth.
